Shri Ram
Charit Bhavan was established with the sole purpose of learning about Shri Ram
and spreading his message for the upliftment of mankind.
It is widely believed that Sage Valmiki was
the first person to narrate the story of Shri Ram through his Sanskrit-written epic
Ramayana. His work was subsequently followed by numerous scholars worldwide; several
versions of Ramayana were written in many different languages. Goswami
Tulsidas, via Ramcharitmanas, made the first attempt to reach a mass audience
through his narration of the Ramayana in layman language.
Shri Ram Charit Bhavan was inspired by Late
Shri Kalyan Prasad Agrawal who himself was a devout bhakta of Shri Ram and
loved reading Ramcharitmanas wherever and whenever he found an opportunity.
